MonTheHoops has learned that Kevin 'Spreadeagle' Thompson is up for a medal of bravery after his galant attempt at winning Rangers a penalty on Saturday, he tried so hard to get out of the way of Samaras's flying left pinky finger that he almost got a toothache, poor chap.
He was carried off on a stretcher due to the damage he caused to his left earlobe that doctors say he may never wear an earring again. Collections for Kev's recovery will start immediately.
We have also learned that he was brave enough after this life-threatening injury that he managed to drive himself home after the game and even had to turn off the car radio as it was hurting his ear drums, he must have really taken a nasty hit to cause such pain eh?
Later that night Kev was even braver, how you ask? Well MTH has heard he actually made it out to Edinburgh to Steven Fletcher's 21st birthday party! That man needs a medal for his bravery and I for one hope he gets it, in fact we hear Celtic FC are lining up Bobo Balde to present it to him at the next game, cant wait to see Kevster get his present, can you?
The SFA have announced that Kevmeister has no case to answer and that his sticker is on it's way to him for being such a brave soul.
