With 'pre-season' firmly out of the way and the more pleasing Legends match dispatched, points are back in play.
The only down side to the return to SPL duty are the absences from the team. Aside from the disappointment of losing Izaguirre just before the international break roony and Kayal are now injured.
Right from the off Celtic are being tested this season but I am positive that last seasons testing times have galvanised this squad and that Neil Lennon will steer this team through all challenges. What each and every player in this squad must do is realise their importance to this team and demonstrate it week in week out.
The SPL is there to be won by Celtic this season and I expect us to meet every challenge head on. This is a great team we have with bags of potential - lets face today's challenge like potential champions.
Next week and the week after I will be in Canada and I am hoping to meet up with Ottawa CSC for one or two Celtic matches if I am near the city. Look forward to me reporting back in a few weeks time!
Hail! Hail!
