As somebody else said, Forrest could turn out to be McGeady with an end product. Let's hope so. Well done tonight.

Thought he was gash tonight, took his two goals well tonight though, I'll give him that and all in all probably got us on our way.

thing is he is scoring goals, not playing the best some games he looks great it will come with more time in the first team, already scored 6 this season 3 more than last season already thats improvment

i would him rather look avarage am come good when it counts, like he has done

He has alot to learn

yes he has a lot to learn, he was poor on saturday, and again 1st half tonight, but 2nd half he pulled us out of a hole just like 2nd half down at killie, but the thing is, we should not be relying on a bhoy of that age to get us out of trouble all the time, hooper and stokes only came good after wee forrest had taken the pressure off them by getting us in front, before then they were a disgrace.

The thing is if the boy could do the simple things well he would be a decent enough player. Like McGeady he stuggles to get a cross in,essential in my book if you play wide.

NL needs to know when to play him and when to take him off. He is an emerging talent but needs to be nurtured properly

The whole team were dire in the first half, We were lucky to get the goal so early in the second half or we could have been in trouble
Thought the wee man took his goals well though

what games are these? he has a far better end product than mcgeady, and more pace, mgeady was good to watch but his final ball was always shite.

He may be faster than McGeady, although does not use his pace often enough, but like Mcgeady,I see you agree with me on this, struggles to put a decent cross in.

What do you mean by "what games are these?"

the games where he fails to do the simple things? examples? because what i have seen of him he has been one of our best players this year, i never agreed on with you about mcgeady, mcgeady was a show boat and good player but over rated IMO we got a good deal selling him, there is far more players that should be in the firing line before forrest.

I agree there are certainly players who are more culpable than young James, but the thread title kind of guided my thinking. As for McGeady too much show and not enough end product for me. Have had this discussion elswhere on the site and while I hope Forrest turns out to be a good yin I have my doubts.
