martim, personally all I want is the 3 points and if we score 3,4 or 5 goals along the way I will be happy.

2-0 a frusting first 20mins with dunfermline defending for their lives, and a goal before the break with the second coming around the 75mins to relieve the tension.
Think we will do them fairly convincingly...here's hoping anyway. Hail Hail

2-0, the green shoots of a recovery are there but do not forget it was a 10 man Caley team last time around so it is a slow burn. I see a quick lead and a late clincher.

5-1 for us. We will inexplicably lose an early goal, then come storming back with even more goals from the unstoppable Antony Stokes. Thought we were rubbish against Caley until they had a man sent off, but this is going to be the game where it all clicks into place as we finally reach the end of the longest corner in the world that we have been turning for quite some time now.

2-O with Commons getting one of them. I think it will be a hard game with them sitting in like St. Johnstone did against us, but I think our defense is finally realizing how to play with Forster behind them, so another clean sheet for us.

Celtic 2 Dunfermline 1.
Well its a win and another three points.
If you saw the game then you may know why I am giving the MenOTM to Dunfermline!
Once again Celtic DOMINATE, yet make it DIFFICULT for themselves.
WHY can a team that often dominates SPL games have great difficulty taking penalty kicks?
And it continues, "we aint seen nuthin yit"!
Forster 7
Mathews 7
Wanyama 7
Majstorovic 7.5
Ledley 7
Forrest 7
Kayal 7
Ki 7
Commons 6.5
Hooper 7
Stokes 6.5<!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_3561396-->

first 65 minutes great, last 25 a f*****g nightmare, we should have buried that mob in the first hour, we didnt and could have paid for it.

just back from the game, we were brilliant in the first half, we were abysmal infront of goal all night.
must have had around 30 clear cut chances. hooper was horrendous.
i know this sounds negative but dunfermiline are shocking and we should be beating them 10-0 at celtic park. i now know why mccourt doesnt get a game, he is shocking. whats the point in getting the ball, skinning 4 players then passing back to the keeper.
we NEED to improve infront of goal.

Job done but it was infuriating not win by a very convincing margin. Thought Hooper would have got the hook. Can only think Lenny wanted him to get another goal to give him some kinda boost. Stokes ran his socks off maybe the thinking was he was knackered. Lots of plus's , they did have 11 men behind the ball throughout, chinks were found but not enough converted. If we scored the penalty and the ball didn't hit the post 4 nil or even 4-1 would have been a better reflection of the game.

agree just back from glasgow, We had more than 6 very good chances to score.. Including the penalty, I was very impressed with wanyama. every header counted attempted to guide the ball to one of our players very rsre from any defender in scotland. just hesd it away.. wanyama was very good at it.. he was the best defender..Forrest seemed off the boil for a lot of the game. We at least won more convincingly than the result showed..

Dont mean to be overly harsh on Kayal but there were two clearences from him that were just wild. A pass to the side would have been the better option. His passing is a bit susoect at times. Does get really stuck in and breaks down opposition play. What about Dan and Forser at towards end. What appears to be indecision between those two could give you ahear attack. They don't half cut it very fine when deciding who is gonnie make the ball safe.

Points bagged but, as ever, a white knuckle ride at the end. Ki was a disaster last night. McCourt comes on and made every pass count. What is the problem for NL seeing the obvious? Ki is now such a problem for us imo that it merits a post on its own which I will put up directly.

Was obviously watching a different game from you lot, Hooper Horrendous? Now I think he's been gash lately, but in that first half he was feckin awesome, Stokes shooting is abysmal and whilst I thought he linked up well a couple of times, he is way to much a glory hunter, after the penalty nonsense he was absolute woeful.
Thougt 2 full-backs were good and a special mention for those first 55-60 mins to a guy I give it tight to, Joe Ledley, he was absolutely brilliant, wish he would do that from midfield, I never really saw their goal lead-up, somebody said he got caught out, but thought he was tremendous upto that point.
Big Forster did well too, although refusing to come off his line is really causing probs.
I love Paddy to bits, I agree with Al, he wasted no passes, but for me he never ran at their defence and seemed to go backwards all the time, both wings were very poor and didn't do anything after our good start. Not sure if Paddy took it upon himeself or LEnny warned him not to try and dribble all the time, I woulda preferred the latter.

I agree FD ledley had a good game and bossed the defence around, He looked a celtic player last night. only big problem I had was the way celtic try to dribble the ball the ball into the net.. IMO we had about eight easy scoring chances from around the box and chose to dribble and pass the ball about (indecision). Could have ran a train through the space but always shooting as they were getting closed down..
