Mr Whyte and his associates had apparently threatened to sue over the BBC documentary when it was shown. This never materialised so the BBC have decided to call his bluff...

The guy is being shown up for what he is....AN ASSET STRIPPER....A FRAUDSTER.....he likes to play using other peoples' money..
Billionaire?
Millionaire?
Wealthy?
If they want to walk about with their heads in the sand that's THEIR problem....
They are crying bias against them by the BBC......pot, kettle, black..anyone???

for years they have had the press and the media in their pockets......now they cannot control what is said or written about them...
How many interviews has Whyte given where he has 'threatened to sue' someone....and it STILL hasn't happened
He is akin to a street corner boy trying to sell 'the sports soax..two furra pound'

I wonder if robert robinson would have called his bluff on words like perfidiosity, and improbity, would he describe himself true or bluff.

Dont see how he can survive much longer. Wonder if he will use the "negative" press for cashing in early by way of administration or such like. That is before the spl find him an ubfit person to be a director and give him the boot.. Ye know I have to wonder why the mint did not do his homework on whyte or did he. HMRC aside this all reeks of smoke, cloak, dagger and mirrors.
As for whyte did he not envisage his past being plundered by all given the high profile position he took up. Theres just something not right as to how he came to be where he is. There truly is mischieve and deception afoot. But how and yet so brazen it still all so well hidden. I am truly puzzled by his apointment.

I think it's gonna go beyond administration and end up being a full blown liquidation. In that sort of scenario the last thing to be considered will be whether they can mantain Them in some form but rather breaking up the assets and selling to the highest bidder, cunts like Whyte will have little or no say in proceedings.

Also if he's done half the shady stuff thats been levelled at him so far, and it seems we are only scratching the surface on his dealings, even after creditors are finished with Them there will still be a long line of people queueing up for a pound of Whytes flesh.

This would be great by the way, you'll also see Murray being chased, possibly former players, former board members/directors, christ the whole house of cards will come tumbling down and they'll all being trying to shift the blame to each other and tear each other apart. No doubt the SFA are at some point gonna have to declare their stance and when they do that they'll be dragged into it and ghod only knows what will come out in the wash.

The end for them will just be the beginning, this shit is gonna run for years....

Brief explanation of administration...

and liquidation....

Liquidation and Ticketus having asked for Ibrox to be put up as collateral would be a good start by my thinking?

My cynicism is such that I wonder if the mint and/or whyie has a hand in TicketUs. Nothing would surprise me. Had a wee google and they are owned by Octupus Investments. There is an old thread on KDS (am not a member) and one post says Octupus has a strong ring of LM Logistics. Was whyte involved with LM.......

A quick google search turns up this on Talk Celtic from a week ago. Believe me there is no hiding place for Whyte, He is either a very clever man or a very stupid man, my money on the latter, if he thinks he can get away with some of the stunts he has seemingly tried to pull.

We know that on 6 May 2011, Craig Whyte completed his take over of Rangers Football Club and became the new Chairman. Phil Betts was Whyte's first appointment to the board, joining on or around 7 May. Both Whyte and Bett were directors of Wavetower, the company through which Whyte bought Rangers.

On 9 May, Rangers entered into an agreement with Ticketus to sell them the income of season ticket sales in exchange for an immediate cash injection. This cash was used to pay an £18m debt owed to Lloyds TSB.

Ticketus is a part of Octopus Investments who operate a number of Venture Capital Trusts, such as Octopus VCT 3. The Chairman of Octopus VCT 3 plc is one Ray Greenshields, who is also a non-executive director of the Close Brothers Group.

According to rangerstaxcase, in October 2011 Rangers gave a fixed charge security over their assets to Close Brothers.

Phil Betts runs a company called Primary Asset Finance, who provide funding and refinancing to businesses. PAS' website is "sponsored" by State Securities, Davenham (now in administration) and Close Brothers.

PAF were involved in joint ventures in Countryliner Group Limited and LM Logistics (currently in administration) with Merchant Corporate Recovery plc, of which Craig Whyte was then a director. Betts was and remains a director of Merchant Turnaround plc. Both MCR and MT are under the umbrella of Merchant House with whom Whyte is still involved as a director of some of its subsidies.

So, what's going on? Well, I have no idea. All I know is that there are a number of links between the Ticketus deal, Phil Betts and Merchant House, enough for a more savvy person than myself to investigate further.

Just about to crash out gotta be up about early, but when I get a chance I'll have a wee dig and see if there is anything else to what you say.
