Thought he had a bit of a mixed bag on Wednesday.

But it seems that in the post match melee he lost the plot.

He apparently called in Caldwell and Weir and told them they were being reported for Violent Misconduct and did not give them red cards. They believed they were being reported to a disciplinary panel.

Now the SFA are saying they were in effect shown red cards and are suspended, but did not bother to inform the players or the clubs except through the media.

Clarke needs to make his mind up, did he or did he not red card them?

Added to that, how did he fail to book fergiehun??

I thought he had a good game, but he did lose the plot a bit after the final whistle. I remember when I first heard Caldwell had been reported and presumed it meant he had to go up in front of a panel where he could be suspended, then found out he was actually suspended already, bizarre. The failure to book Ferguson was his biggest error. Anyway, during the actual 90 minutes I thought he had a solid game and I believe most of his decisions were correct.

Agreed. I actually watched a repeat of the game today; he used his experience immediately with the (great) Robson challenge on Dally and let the game flow as much as possible He had a good, last Glasgow Derby.:D
