This has been a season of roller coaster emotions for me.....what’s new? It started with the longest delay in appointing a manager to match the time Amabam Airlines were refused take off at Heathrow in the 70's when Rangers still could get rolls on tick from the local dairy, a long time. We were regaled with the news, in case we hadn’t noticed, that the great man Walter was retiring and that he would surely win three in a row(he still very well might) and retire with the best wishes of all his helmet polishers in the press, a knighthood was a cert and if Salmond fancied i,t he would run the country in the off season.

For our part as i mentioned, our board took as long to decide what they had already decided then decided to tell us all what was decided before something else was decided than it takes to work out what that sentence actually means. Neil Lennon was anointed to a chorus of division, not in the sense that he was not loved but rather that he was inexperienced and should not be allowed to take over after such a disastrous spell under the helm of Mogga. A fair point. I too had my doubts but got behind him as I felt that at least he would have a fight.....god am i good at predicting or what?
As the season went on and we went from atrocious to humiliatingly bad I lambasted him and most of his signings, the club, the board, the pies the shade of the grasss, the state of the 61 to Parkheid and the price of a packet of pickled onion crisps. In short i did more moaning than the bunch of fluffers on the set of Debbie does Dallas.

We went ahead with the SFA, with Rangers, with that preposterous fool Peat, with the Refs, with the press, with anybody really and do you know what? We needed to.
For too long our board have bent over and taken it up the jacksie, all the cheating, the press bias etc, enough was enough and Lenny provided the courage to do it.

For me we now have a team that with a few additions will be the best i have seen in 30 years and I’m only 23...and a few months..ahem. I’m glad Lenny listened to my advice, showed real intelligence there.

We are now on the verge of sending Watty into retirement with a Celtic boot right up his arse, justice will be done. The team need to do what everyone apart fro us wants, win our games and sicken the press, the telly mob the gers players and my pal.

This season will be remembered for many atrocious things, it will be remembered for a new low in sectarian abuse and hatred, but for me it will be remembered as the year Celtic got off its knees and said enough is enough.
If we were to win the double on top of that then that would be icing on what was for me a very sweet cake.

Wonderfully self deprecating! And you are so right; Celtic are standing up!
