I think it is deplorable that after the Celtic youngsters take time out their weekends to pack bags (A very tedious task) they have been treated in such a despicable manner. Two teams have benefited from young Celtic players hard work and dissapointment. What infuriates me is that if there was a Motherwell youth team packing bags, everyone would be praising ASDA for letting a small "Family" club try to raise money, and this would lead to good publicity. With this scenario in mind, would the same happen to the young Wells? Would they be treated in the same discriminatory way? Would ASDA "Not take sides" and precede to award Celtic, Hamilton and Rangers money despite no involvement from both teams? Not going to happen. What has happened here may sound far fetched, but in my view verges on the border of social and religious Apartheid, in which people are discriminated against for supporting a team and believing in a certain religion. Only in Scotlan, the best small minded country in the world

While I think it was wrong to ask them to taKe their jackets and ties off, it was only done so that people would not be provoked, as there are a large number of catholics and protesants in motherwell. An investigation will be carried out and an apology has been made, as well as a donation. The only reason motherwell and rangers were given donations was because it could cause complaints within their fans if they did not recieve money.
Fyi, im a celtic fan, living in motherwell, and both of my parents are managers in asda!

Perhaps, the motherwell and Rangers teams should have been invited down to pack bags to earn their money just as Celtic tried to do.When asda accepted the Bhoys to pack bags, surely all the risks should of been assessed and a decision made before the invitation was accepted. This was a monumental cock-up on behalf of Asda.
