Was a bit dismayed today to find that the much hailed price slashing for juniors is not quite all it is cracked up to be.

Although adult prices are frozen....great news, and they announced massive reductions to children, to reward and welcome the Celtic Family to Parkhead, when you actually look at what is on offer, the children are only welcome parts of the family when Rangers are not here to play.

The announced structure is £50 for under 13's, £100 for under 16's and £150 for under 18's, but they do not include Derby match tickets. Read the small print and it says packages including these games are available, but no price is quoted.

In the ticket office today, I asked the question, what more will it cost to include these two games. The shock reply was, an extra £70!!

Therefore your kids get 17 SPL games for either £50, £100, or £150 but for another two games we need to pay £70!! Someone is having a laugh.

I expect to pay sensible prices for kids to those games, say £20 a game, but £35 each is just ridiculous.

Does anyone else think the club knows it is having a laugh and that is why this fact has been missed from all the advertising and publicity material?

You want your kids to be exposed to their bile and hate? I'd pay £35 to have them insulated.

That is a sneaky move. They could have been clearer from the start.

the are ripping the pish at £70 for the two derby games,

they should be no more than a score each maximum with them being more like £15-£17 for kids,

unacceptable to charge this much IMO

While Reid is chairman expect much of the same...

At the AGM he denied having been paid funds by Dermot Desmond..

As a Labour MP he has also attended meetings with DD's companies regards ID schemes etc ... He is pocketing plenty after lies to Celtic Supporters at the AGM . Reid is not only a poodle of the Labour Government he is Dermots pet dog... Liar and corrupt and would sell his granny... The worst move Celtic football club (my first love) have made since the old board bid us goodbye in the 1990's .

Hail Hail fellow Celts the season book scandal doesn't surprise me...

As I look around Celtic Park (my Paradise) on match days it is obvious we have to find ways of getting the kids back. Many like myself are getting on in life, in my case 63 years of being a celt and proud to have seen many moments in our history...

Hopefully I have not bored all you Celts but what I say is from the heart and knowing Reid personally many years ago as members of the Labour Party... Ex member for many years due to the scoundrals that came through the ranks....

I believe if we win our 2 last games the League Championship shall be ours for a 3rd time

The area where the prices are shown willl be the Lisbon Lions stand. It will be the area where Rangers occupy for those games. It was mooted last year that it would be a family section.

The non-old firm thing was clear from the start. Claiming that Celtic are trying to pull the wool over fans eyes is just petty, this is a great offer from the club!

There is already season books that don't include Scotland's Shame games so this is no different. Don't look a gift horse etc, this is still a great package

I think it was made pretty clear that the derby games were NOT included in the kids season books. However, charging the kids £70 for the two huns games is just not on!

I would hope the club will reconsider this.

I find that many folk with young kids choose not to take them to the games against the dark side which is fine and it makes sense for Celtic to structure these packages in this way but if a parent decides to take take their kids to the game(s) then £35 is a scandal. It's a parents right to bring their children up as they see fit and this includes choosing which games they can attend and when. Personally i would not want to subject my child to those atmosphes at a young age.
