MonTheHoops CSC Honorary Member Neil Lennon's present club Wycombe invite all Celtic fans for a great day out.
Fans of Glasgow giants Celtic are being urged to adopt Wycombe Wanderers as their second club by attending a special 'Celtic Day' at Adams Park. Supporters of the Scottish champions are invited to next month's League Two fixture against Chester City, which had already been chosen as a community day at Adams Park.
Managing director Steve Hayes told wwfc.com: 'It's amazing how many links there are between Wycombe and Celtic. Paul Lambert, Neil Lennon, Rab Douglas and Steve Guppy all played for Celtic and, of course, Martin O'Neill is one of the most successful managers that either club has ever had.

'I'm sure Celtic fans keep an eye out for our results so we thought it would be a good idea to invite them down to Adams Park to see us play. They have a huge following in England and thousands of their fans live within an hour's journey of Wycombe. We've just been voted the best family club in League Two and it would be great if Celtic fans came and joined our family.'
When the Blues take on Chester on Saturday, April 19th (k.o.3.00pm), the Dreams Stand - normally reserved for visiting fans - will be turned into a Celtic enclosure. Chester supporters will be allocated seats in the end section of the BCUC stand and there will be no disruption to Wycombe fans who can take their usual places in the stadium.
Mr.Hayes added: 'Celtic played here a few years ago in a testimonial match for Jason Cousins and they brought a huge following. Their fans behaved impeccably and the evening was a great success. We said then that Celtic supporters will always be welcomed back to Adams Park and we'd love to see them here for the Chester game.'
More details of the 'Celtic Day' will follow shortly.

MonTheHoops CSC has made some moves to participate in this Celtic Day by sponsoring the Match Programme, this sponsorship package will include some game day advertising and other special offers, if you would like to help with the cost of this sponsorship you can do so by sending your donation via Paypal to paul@monthehoops.co.uk

I urge all MTH Members especially to come along on the day to meet our Honorary Member Neil Lennon as well as Paul Lambert and some other ex-celts, and a wee birdy has told me there may even be some entertainment laid of of the "Celtic Persuasion", watch this space!

Wish this was when I was over there.

Some friends and I from LA sponsored the match ball at a recent FA Carling Trophy Semifinal match at Ebbsfleet United. It was a blast.

Wycombe Wanderers Appeal For Celtic Fans

Mar 14 2008 (http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football-news/scottish-football/spl-football/celtic-fc/2008/03/14/)
WYCOMBE WANDERERS - managed by Paul Lambert - hope to boost their support by convincing Celtic fans down south to back them.
The League Two side, based in Buckinghamshire, will have a special Celtic section in their ground at their game against Chester City at Adams Park on April 19.
It will be sited in an enclosure normally reserved for away fans.
And an open invitation has been issued for Hoops supporters to attend.
Wanderers managing director Steve Hayes pointed out Lambert is not the only connection between the two clubs. He said: 'It's amazing how many links there are between Wycombe and Celtic.
"Apart from Paul, Neil Lennon, Rab Douglas and Steve Guppy all played for Celtic. And, of course, Martin O'Neill is one of the most successful managers either club has ever had.
"I'm sure Celtic fans keep an eye out for our results so we thought it would be a good idea to invite them to Adams Park to see us play.
"They have a huge following in England and thousands of their fans live within an hour's journey of Wycombe.
"We've just been voted the best family club in League Two and it would be great if Celtic fans came and joined that family. They played down here a few years ago in a testimonial match for Jason Cousins and brought a huge following.
"The Celtic fans behaved impeccably and the evening was a great success.
