when i was trawling through online media yesterday, one thing kept coming out of the screen on every page i read and that was the huns HISTORIC QUADRUPLE, correct me if I'm wrong but ,i know I'm not because i have the history books on my side not the Scottish media, in 1967 Celtic won the following trophies
European cup 1
Scottish cup 2
league cup 3
league 4
Glasgow cup 5
now i know i went to a catholic school, so my arithmetic could be wrong here, does`nt that make 5 trophies in the one season ,
so the huns aren't really making history here are they, their just trying to play catch up with the best team in the land Celtic fc :third::approve:

I also went to one of those type of Schools, I managed to get a hold on one of a digital counting thingwies.
Yip five seems about right.
its maybe a hitoric win for the huns, but not for anyone else.

Tyson, I agree with your tally of 5 trophies for Celtic in 1967, but doesn't that constitute a "quintuple"? So unless Celtic have won just 4 trophies in a single season, this could well (should they do it... which they won't) be a "historic", or even "unprecedented", quadruple for The Dark Side.
Then again, if they do actually astound us all by pulling off their unprecedented quadruple, we can always argue that the Glasgow Cup shouldn't count, as it is really a reserve competition, and therefore their quadruple isn't unprecedented after all.

I actually blame Catholic schools - for making me f***ing smarter than them!!!
I can see their wonderful quadruple evaporating into a double at best - watch for the spin on that!!
C'mon Zenit, C'mon Queen of the South (imagine me wanting a team with the word Queen in it to win - needs must!), but most of all C'mon US!!!!!

Back in those days the Glasgow Cup was played for by the first teams, and was a competative competition, it was only later it was the reserves who played for it, now it is the youth teams. Hail Hail
