Jimmy Calderwood, manager of Aberdeen, seems to have scored a bit of an own goal today, when claiming that Rangers should have won the league.
"No disrespect to Gordon Strachan," said the orange skinned, pocket billiards playing Calderwood, "But Rangers would have won the title if it wasn't for the horrendous amount of games they've had to play in the last week."
This claim was backed up by Aberdeen midfielder and ex- Rangers player Barry Nicholson.
"Aye, they wur tired, so they wur" said Barry.
I wonder what the Rangers hating Aberdeen fans will make of all this, since these statements if true, mean that Aberdeen's success in the 2-0 humping of the Huns last night, was only made possible by the fact that the Forces of Darkness 'were knackered!'
Cue headlines..."Craig Levein in Talks With Aberdeen!"
