An idea has came in from one of our Mods, I'll let them mention who it was if they wish to, but the idea is for us to gather some funds and donate a Brother Walfrid Well in the name of Tommy Burns and others for the people of Africa.
Each Well costs £250 but it provides much needed clean drinking water for villages all over Africa, it's a great charity and very worthwhile cause. This would be the perfect way to keep Tommy's and other Bhoy's memories alive and it is exactly what they would have wanted, they would I'm sure be very proud.
If you are interested in donating to this cause, you can do so by sending through Paypal your donation to paul@monthehoops.co.uk, I will keep everyone updated here on the progress and how much we have received.
If we receive enough funds we will buy more Wells in departed Bhoy's names including Phil O'Donnell till the funds run dry, so keep em coming everyone.
Each certificate we receive will have our departed heroes name on it and we will then make sure their respective families get the certificate through Neil Lennon, our Honorary Member.
