Does your desktop look cluttered and untidy, do you have shortcuts on there that you dont use anymore?

Get rid of them then! Remember if its a shortcut you will only be deleting that and not the application or whatever it relates to.

Just click right any clear space on the desktop, hover over arrange icons by, and go right to the bottom of the next wee window until you see run desktop clean up wizard and left click it. Just follow the instructions. There that looks better already.

Here is another common question and easy remmedy. If your desktop icons have a coloured box that surrounds the text, it will probably be doing your head in cause it dont match your shiney new wallpaper.
To get rid of it, right click a clear space on the desktop and hover over arrange icons by. Then go to the second from last option. (Lock web items on desktop ) and un-check it. Done.
