Celtic v Aberdeen: Team news
NEIL Lennon has made three changes to the side which defeated HJK Helsinki during the week. Beram Kayal and Anthony Stokes come into the side at the expense of James Forrest and Scott Brown, who both miss out through injury.
Thomas Rogne also comes into defence as Charlie Mulgrew serves a one-match suspension for the red card he was shown in the pre-season friendly against Ajax a fortnight ago.

Re: Celtic v Aberdeen: Team news
0-0 Half time. Aberdeen with 10 men in defense get their first attempt on goal in the 45th minute. I really hoped without Ragers in the SPL teams might decide to be a bit more adventurous against us...
Kayal seems to be doing well in the middle field and Commons for me looks likeliest to get the breakthrough?

Glad we got 3 points but that was shocking
said it last season we need to change our tactics when teams come to parkhead with 5 in the middle of the park and not play 442
said big vic should not be playing centre half, why is he not in themiddle of the park after the pre season he had?
we still need a centre half
is izzy turning into lee naylor mark 2?
still need a target man
am really worrying about the game in mid week now after that

Celtic 1 Aberdeen 0.
Certainly was a brisk type game from both teams with Celtic deserving their win, however is Commons the only player that can shoot at goal with any accuracy and conviction, it sure looks that way, his goal was well taken with I think a slight deflection.
Celtic are in need of strikers, once again Stokes and Hooper were not in the hunt, and we have two other players as back ups, Murphy and Bangura, somebody has to be kiddin!
Forster 6.5
Mathews 6.5
Rogne 6.5
Wanyama 7
Izaguirre 6
Commons 7 MOTM
Kayal 6.5
Ledley 6.5
Samaras 6
Stokes 5
Hooper 5

For once I completely agree with your scores there Hubert. The whole team were poor today, especially up front. We really need our strikers to start playing, they look as if they are still on holiday, although I wish Murphy was on a permanent holiday.

Thought big Vic was immense, but more at midfield, once he was moved came into his own.
